For example, did you know that there is a command called "Listeners" that lets you know that it is always there, listening and watching? Or that Alexa can make crazy animal noises and laugh scary? For whatever reason, these features are part of the Amazon Echo and Alexa app.
Read about the weirdest things your Amazon Echo can do.
Listeners are always listening and watching
This one is super ominous, so if you're home alone and scared easily, skip it. If you say, "Alex, ask the listeners," Alexa will start saying things like "We always listen," and will continue to speak disturbingly with awkward pauses. You can still talk to the voice assistant, but this is getting weirder.
Alexa told me "they" are watching over me, even while I sleep, which is enough to make me want to turn off the Echo and call it a night. When you're ready to stop talking to the dreaded bot, just say "stop." He will then say, "Finally, we are sorry to know that you are filled with irritation. And now, you must abandon us. " Thanks for the nightmares, Amazon.
Keep in mind it's just a program and Amazon doesn't really watch you.when you talk to Alex, of course, to improve your answer settings.
Your Amazon Echo can sneeze
Achoo! It's time to send out your Echo because it's a sneeze. But wait, it's not a living thing, so you don't have to sneeze. Just ask, "Alexa, can you sneeze?" and she'll say, "You're in luck, I can sneeze at the command. Achoo!" Sneezing is not very convincing.
There's also a skill called I Just Sneezed that you can activate. When you say "Alex, I just sneezed," the voice assistant will say "Bless you" or "Say, don't spray it."
It's not going to write everything to you
When you can't remember how to spell a word like "hippo", Alexa is right there to help you. But it is strange that the bot knows about the trick "spell icup" (eye-see-you-drink). If you ask Alex to write "icup", she will say, "I prefer not to answer that." But if you ask him to write something like "rose gold", he will say "r-o-s-e space g-o-l-d". So why doesn't it write "icup" right like "I space c-u-p"?
Alexa will also not write or saybecause "she should not say anything rude."
Alex snore to help you fall asleep
Yes, Alex snore. I'm not sure who enjoys falling asleep at the sound of snoring. It seems that it would be difficult to lull over the chaotic noises. Perhaps the goal is to make you feel soothed if you snore alone, or maybe it's for people who can't sleep without the sounds of snoring. It's just weird anyway. Try it by saying, "Alexa, play snore sounds."
More things outside the wall that Alexa can do
