Eleven Sixers appeared in the NBA injury report released Friday night at 8:30 p.m.
Listed for Saturday’s scheduled match against the Nuggets for reasons unrelated to COVID-19 are Furkan Korkmaz (left adductor), Mike Scott (left knee injury) and Terrance Ferguson (personal reasons).
More importantly, seven players were listed as suspicious due to health and safety protocols. A source told NBC Sports Philadelphia shortly after the injury report was released that the team expected results from the COVID-19 test and follow-up.
The suspicious players are:
- Joel Embiid
- Danny Green
- Tobias Harris
- Shake Milton
- Vincent Poirier
- Paul Reed
- Mathis Tibul

Shortly before midnight on Friday, Vojnarovski announced that the players listed in the health and safety protocols had been in “close contact” with Curry and that the Sixers were awaiting the league’s assessment of the circumstances surrounding the individual cases of the seven players. NBA teams must have at least eight players available to play a game.
The Sixers boarded buses back to Philadelphia late Friday night, ESPN reported.
Shortly after midnight on Saturday morning, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that a member of the Sixers training team had tested positive for COVID-19, which led to further follow-up of the team’s contacts.
