The Miami Dolphins are taking the field this afternoon at Hard Rock Stadium and once again the whole world is expecting them to lose to the Los Angeles Chargers. The Dolphins have really given no reason to believe otherwise – until the team remains competitive for 4 quarters, Miami will continue to rally in betting spreads and game predictions.
But this is a new week and a new chance to shake up the regrettable reputation that this team quickly built in just a few weeks. Will the dolphins actually show up? Here are three bold predictions of today's Charge & Dolphin Week 4 contest.
Dolphins will exceed charges in the second half
Please note: the second half. The Dolphins face a Chargers team that lacks both backcourt defenses. And while the front seven is fierce ̵
Look for the Dolphins to connect some nice discs through this game. And unlike last week, he actually finished them. It's a shame the Chargers will start hot and still win the game, but it looks like a good second half is in the cards based on Miami's climate advantage and the lack of Chargers staff.
Miami will fire Philip Rivers 3+ times The Chargers offensive line isn't bad Miami, but it's not exactly good. And with a winning group in front of Philip Rivers, look for the Dolphins to achieve some success by tearing their pockets around a motionless pocket passer.
Will the Dolphins win often enough to really close Rivers and company? No. But there must be enough tension here to get into a stationary destination in Rivers.
Javier Howard bounced back with a catch
Howard's week last week was pretty uncharacteristic – including his scrap and late throw in the game. Howard is the kind of person who has to react the right way: through a ball. And though Howard has a tough job this week, look for him to be much more focused and disciplined in coverage.
The King of Capture in 2018 comes on board in Week 4.
