My Instant Pot (also called Instapot) is a huge part of my kitchen. I use it all the time .
So when he stops working, I'll admit that chaos is happening. I found out how to fix the most common problems and found that most are easy fixes. Here's what you need to know to keep and your InstaPot.
: Dead Screen
No matter what button you press, nothing happens. There is no sound and nothing happens on the screen.
Fix: Do not worry, the cable is probably not connected to the end. Remove the plug on the back of Instant Pot and push it inward, securely.
Task 2: The screen says "Ovht"
Your Instant Pot stopped cooking and has a strange Ovht code on the screen.
Correction: Ovht means "overheating." This means that more than likely your food is burned in the lock pot. The "C5" code on the screen is also an indication that the pot is too hot.
Quick release of pressure and removal of the inner vessel. The chance is that you have not put enough moisture in the pot, which has caused everything to overheat and burn. Next time carefully follow the prescription instructions for how much liquid to add to the ingredients.
Immediate sweat continues to scream after you run it, seemingly without reason. Beeping means the pot overheats because there is not enough liquid in the pot. This lets you know before things start burning, and Ovht's code appears on the screen. Quickly release the accumulated pressure and add more liquid to the inner pot. fix: Check the small button on the steam release handle. If it's up, push it down. The button must be to open or close the lid.
If this does not work, check that the print is in the right place. It should be taken close to the edge of the lid.
Problem: "noPr" appears on the screen
The "noPr" code on the screen means the pot does not create the pressure properly.
Correction: This problem is usually due to a leaky lid, or the steam release handle is not in the closed position all the way. First check the steam release handle and make sure it is where it should be.
If the handle is already in the correct position, quickly release the rest of the pressure, remove the lid and allow it to cool down. Then look at the seal. It is probably spot or dirty, which prevents it from sealing. Here's how to clean the seal and the rest of Instapot, right.
Another reason may be that you do not have enough fluid in the jar to build pressure. Check your recipe to make sure.
