The New Orleans Saints are going on a 6-1 record, one of the best in the NFL, with only one team standing between them and their waiting week: the Arizona Cardinals who visit Mercedes-Benz Superdom on Sunday. This time, though, the Saints can get their franchise quarterback under center again – Drew Brace is nearing his return from thumb surgery and hopes to take the field against Arizona. Teddy Bridgewater handled the games in Brees' absence, but there was no mistake in starting the backup. Here are five players to watch in Week 8.
Murray had his best game since joining New Orleans last week against the Chicago Bears, running in power and helping his quarterback, catching a few passes. Alvin Camara is still on the mend with a high ankle injury, though Saints coach Sean Peyton said his condition is daily and would not rule him out against the Cardinals. However, between Murray's efficiency and the proximity of the week to waiting (and more rest that comes with it), it would be wise for the Saints to lean on Murray again and keep the House on the sidelines.
