The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday as they try to overcome a heavy loss last week against the Green Bay Packers. A few important players seem to be returning from an injury this week, but against a hot and healthy Viking team, it will be a big challenge for the Chiefs.
Here are five things to watch for the Vikings.
Chris Jones looks like he may be back in the lineup. He was identified as doubtful to play in the official injury report. This will be his first game back after suffering a groin injury in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Jones 'return would be huge for the Chiefs' defense as they prepare to play for Kirk Cousins and the Vikings. The Cousins have been lit for the past four games, making 10 touchdowns and rushing for 1,262 yards. His performance earned him the honor of being the offensive player of the month for the NFC, so returning Jones to rush the passer-by from the interior would be of great benefit to his delay.
The Chiefs may be without Frank Clark, who is also in question. They will be without Alex Okafor, who is off. It will be interesting to see what the Chiefs are doing on the defensive line, hopefully Jones returns because if not, the Chiefs' defensive line will be thin at depth.
