The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Inspection Service announced late Saturday that Fisher Packing Company products in Redkey had been shipped nationwide. They are packaged at the end of August.
Products include smoked ham, smoked ham and Canadian bacon. They have "74SEIN" identification number inside the USDA verification mark. Products must be discarded or returned.
Federal officials said the problem was discovered when the company found that the sample was positively confirmed for Listeria monocytogenes.
Consumption of foods contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious infection, primarily affecting the elderly, people with weak immune systems, and pregnant women and their newborns.
No confirmed disease reports.
