The 28-year-old Takesta Graham made a brief court statement at the Los Angeles County Supreme Court in Pomona. Her detention is postponed until April 16th. It was held unguarded at Linouwood's Century Detention Center, according to prison records.
Graham and her friend, Emily Hunt, 38 are accused of killing Trinity Love Jones on March 1, according to a criminal complaint. Trinity's body was found a few days later on a horse trail at Hassijnd Heights.
The case remains under investigation and the authorities want anyone with information to come out. Hunt is also facing a murder charge. In 2005, he was convicted of ill-treatment of children with massive injuries in San Diego County, the complaint said. The previous sentence could mean a firmer conviction if convicted of Trinity's murder, according to court documents.
Graham, who was extradited by Texas as investigators, prepared the criminal case against her, also had a previous record.
