Soap star Kirsten Storms has revealed that she is on the verge of recovery after undergoing brain surgery this week.
The actress from the “General Hospital” went to her Instagram on Friday, showing up in a brace on her neck during a trip home with her friend Emma Rylan, who is also an actress.
“So, [I’ve] there is not much talk about it at all or at all. Less than 48 hours ago, I underwent brain surgery, hence the neck brace. It was at the bottom of my brain. Emma takes care of me until she gets to her nurse at home. It’s been interesting over the last few days, “Storms, 37, announced on Instagram Story.
“Sorry for the shock, guys,”
The actress said that the operation was to remove the non-cancerous cyst.
“What they had to drain and remove was not cancer. I want to make it clear that right now, before the Internet goes crazy about rumors, “she continued. “I had a very large cyst that had split in two and the doctors said it was so full that the pressure was very noticeable when they opened my skull. That sounds so weird. So I’ll fix it in the next few weeks, but I’ll get back to work when it’s over. “
The storms seemed to be in a good mood as she and Rylan joked that she was still a big fan of knitting and planned to knit things during her recovery.
“Let’s see if I can speak a foreign language now. Maybe I can learn things, “Storms added.
She also stressed that Rylon, who was in the driver’s seat, did not drive her home immediately after the operation.
“I had surgery a few days ago, so yes, I was in the hospital for a few days. “We won’t be picked up right after brain surgery,” the Zenon star continued.
The Disney Channel Scholarship added that he felt “like st.”
“Excuse my tongue, but I feel like I won it today,” she laughed before thanking Rylan for “taking care of me.”
Storms is best known for his role as Maxi Jones in General Hospital. She previously starred in Days of Our Lives as Bell Black and appeared in a number of original Disney films, including Zeno, and voiced a role in several episodes of Kim Possible.
