LARKSVILLE, PA. – A Pennsylvania man is receiving medical treatment after being bitten by a rabid bat.
Randy Haynes talks to WNEP.
He said he heard his dog barking and going out to see what was going on. onwards.
"He wrapped himself around my leg in just one second faster than a rattlesnake," Haines recalled.
"His wings had big thorns on him, and his legs with big claws, he dug in and pulled out pieces of my leg like boom, boom, boom," Haines added.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission took the bats for tests and determined that there was rabies.
The bat is identified as a bat.
