The least selected character? Zitz
The revival in 2020 of Battle peaks is interesting on many fronts – not just as a restart from scratch of the dormant series bit-up, but also as a capital-n New take on Rash, Zitz and Pimple.
As Chris said in his review, this is a “polarizing” game that juggles many different elements with varying degrees of success. Will Battle peaks to travel further down this road or is it a one-time deal? In the current landscape, fueled by the Xbox Game Pass, it feels like almost everything has the potential for a green light.
For what it’s worth, over a million players have registered Battle peaks.
As Battletoads bounces back after a million players, we̵7;ve pushed some stunning statistics into the game since launch! Poor Chet and his turbo engines will be surprised if he’s still running. Read the post about lowdown and blur the game today: https://t.co/ZNlGjdzGt0 pic.twitter.com/e1W3PHZGDW

He rarely publishes that number and a few other silly statistics (you know what kind), including the number of Turbo Bike crashes (42.5 million) and how many collectors have collected so far (8.6 million). It is also worth noting: The rash is a favorite of the crowd. Zitz, meanwhile, is the tragic dead last choice.
Adding more context to the million-dollar stage, in a recent interview with Kotaku, Xbox CEO Phil Spencer said that “the response to Battle peaks it was good “and” Dlala did well with the game. “
In both cases, I do not feel strongly about the revival, but I would like to see this team get a new crack Battle peaks knowing what he knows now. I’m open to seeing the great vision of being beyond a game, not to mention the potential to smooth the rough edges and involve online cooperatives.
Sad news for Zitz, however.
