It’s hard to say exactly what Nintendo’s plans for this year may be. Both The wind and Twilight Princess received HD remakes of the Wii U. Most of Nintendo’s first-party production was ported to the Switch, but none of these games are available on the platform. As such, it would not be a surprise to see any of these games reissued this year. Of course, it’s possible that Link will get a “3D All-Stars” compilation similar to Super Mario 3D stars.
In 2019, Nintendo released a true remake of The Legend of Zelda: The Awakening of the Relationship. Maybe other Zelda games could get a similar treatment this year, such as Oracle of Ages / Seasons, or Phantom hourglass, which was talked about earlier. The The awakening of the relationship The remake was developed by Grezzo and this team is currently working on Mythopia the remake is due out next month. Given Greco’s long history with a remake of Zelda, the studio may be working on something for the anniversary.
Zelda is one of Nintendo’s most important franchises, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see the anniversary celebration on a par with Mario. What exactly it can lead to, however, remains to be seen. For now, Zelda fans will just have to wait and see!
