A new symbol of Mortal Kombat 11, Cetrion, revealed



Mortal Kombat 11 is just a few weeks old, and the developer NetherRealm continues to reveal new characters at the beginning of the game. Last week, the company gave its fans a first glance at three returning fighters – Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Jax – during Sony's inaugural presentation on the state of the game, and now reveals a brand new character named Cetrion. we see in her revealing trailer (through Game Informer), Cetrion is the Old God connected to the Earth, and she is able to use her elementary powers in the battle; the trailer demonstrates calling the vineyards from the ground to stop their opponents and conceal the rocks with which to defeat enemies. The video ends with a look at one of Cetrion's deaths, which sees how it grows to the size of God and rains an energy beam on an unhappy Jade.

Source: Game Informer The second totally new feature character declared Mortal Kombat 11 so far, after Geras, the loyal boss MK 11 Kronika. Like Cetrion, Geras also has some elementary powers; he is able to create objects made of sand – like a bed of spikes that can hit his enemies – and even manipulate time. In addition to the base list, NetherRealm will release an assortment of DLC symbols for MK 11. The developer has not yet announced how long it will be, but we looked at the first one during C2E2 last month: Shang Tsung. This time Tsun's likeness is based on Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the actor who portrays the hero of the 1995 Mortal Kombat. Players who pre-order the game will also receive Shao Kahn as a bonus character.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on April 23.
