On Friday, filed by the Department of Justice, prosecutors said a Facebook user tagged Jenna Ryan in a series of photos with the caption “We’re so excited! DC linked to #StopTheSteal” on January 5th.
Ryan, who owns a real estate company in Frisco, Texas, posted a 21-minute video on her Facebook account in which she and a group walk to the Capitol building, according to court documents.
A series of photos posted on her Facebook and Twitter show Ryan in a crowd of Trump supporters.
Ryan claims she did not enter the Capitol, but the video shows her in a large crowd entering the front door of the building.
Prosecutors said they discovered an already deleted Facebook video taken when she entered the Capitol building, where Ryan was heard saying, “We’re going to go here. Life or death doesn’t matter.”
Just before entering the building, according to court documents, she added: “You all know who to hire for your property. Jenna Ryan for your property.”

Prosecutors also found a tweet from Ryan posing in front of a broken glass window that read “Capital Window”. And if the news doesn’t stop lying about us, we’ll come after their studies next. .. “
Ryan posted a statement on his Twitter page on January 8, saying: “I was invited to go to Washington by a friend to witness the march. Unfortunately, what I considered a peaceful political march turned into a violent protest. I apologize for the violence that took place on January 6, 2020, and I am truly heartbroken for the people who lost their lives. Hatred and violence against each other will not solve our country’s problems. As a nation, we must come together as Republicans, Democrat and Independent and we will have an open and honest discussion on the problems in our country and we will solve our problems in peace. “
The DOJ accused her of forced entry and hooliganism; and a parade, demonstration, or picket in one of the Capitol’s buildings.
