Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers left his fingers crossed.
Rodgers, who said nothing about his situation with the Packers, clicked the “like” button in Monday’s message from recipient Davante Adams, which sparked a stir: “You need to evaluate what you have until you get it!”
It is not clear whether Adams said that he may no longer have one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, or whether (looking at the situation more broadly) the Packers and their fans need to prepare for what coming because Rodgers can really move forward.
Or maybe it has nothing to do with football. Often such general observations are considered specific when they may not exist. Sometimes players fully intend these general remarks to send a specific message, but at the same time they can later say that they do not do such a thing – even if they do.
After all, maybe that’s why Rodgers liked the tweet. If Adams had done that, he might have learned that move from Rodgers.
