House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-California, said former President Trump's adviser on national security, John Bolton, is a "very important" witness in Parliament's ongoing investigation into the president's investigation.
Speech on ABC News "This Week," Schiff said, Bolton appears as a key witness after hearing testimony from other administrations and government officials.
"Obviously he has a lot of relevant information and we want him to come in and give evidence," Schiff said.
The Democrat, however, noted that the White House would likely face obstacles to Bolton's entry into the committee.
"I suppose they will fight us with John Bolton's participation."

Democrats are investigating Trump's demands that Ukraine carry out specific investigations and whether the requests are in exchange for military assistance, Trump asked for a probe into the White House. a phone call in July with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Kupperman's interview is scheduled for Monday; Morrison is set for Thursday. If Morrison appeared for the interview, he would be the first White House aide to testify, even when Trump said his administration would not cooperate.
