AirPods 2 revealed in leak to be almost here, praised Brilliant new feature

Apple AirPods are the cool cordless wireless earbuds for earning the Cupertino giant

Rostov on Don, Russia – December 2018 Apple AirPods in a shell of A few days ago found that component suppliers believed that the heir of the current buds, probably called AirPods 2, will be released in the first half of 201

These new AirPods will have enhanced biometric capabilities and a new design which you can read here .

Very good but if you can not to bear the thought of waiting for another five months, then the new leakage may be music to your wireless connection

Well, then, what is this new leakage

The alleged iOS screen, showing an AirPods training setting for "Hey, Siri." 9to5Mac

The last leak comes from Apple itself, so it's hard to reject. The latest beta of iOS operating system software, iOS 12.2, which has not yet been released to developers, has a setup screen. This was reported by the more ingenious Guilherme Rambo of 9to5Mac .

The setup screen is hidden for now unless you, like Guilherme, know where to look. Here's what the setup screen says: "Talk to Siri with your AirPods or iPhone, say" Hey, Siri. "

Did we already know about this?

only partially. This new feature is already annoyed by Apple in the first movie that is played before the main report of September 12, 2018. You can read here .

What's New?

I'm glad you asked. This screen tells us much more about what's coming. You see, if you set Hey, Siri on AirPods, it means the handhelds have to be smart enough to recognize the expression as it sounds like iPhone or Apple Watch. Potentially, this may mean AirPods can recognize your specific voice, not just the phrase.

You mean to recognize

Well, although you may have read this, I'm not sure it is.

I think this is a training process just like the one that runs for iPhone, Apple Watch and HomePod. It adapts the device to the way you say the phrase, but that does not rule out that it responds to other voices if they also say, "Hey, Siri."

After all, most of us have seen devices responding suddenly because they think we've said "Hey, Siri," or "Hey, Google" or "Alexa," right?

However, training is a neat way to help AirPods react accurately. new Apple AirPods were shown at an event to announce Apple's new products on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, in San Francisco. (AP Photo / Marcio Jose Sanchez) photo credit: ASSOCIATED PRESS

How do you know this is not for current AirPods?

Good point. I do not. But I do not think the AirPods processor is powerful enough to handle this feature. Maybe these Apple engineers have found a way to do this, but I'm not sure.

Also, AirPods 2 are so owed, so overdue in fact that time makes sense. Last year iOS 11.3 went to developer beta on January 24, 2018, so almost exactly one year before the day before. The latest edition was March 29, 2018. It happened two days after the special event in Chicago when Apple announced the latest iPad. The rumor partly based on this latest iOS 12 beta,

Apple iPhone X with Apple Watch, AirPods with a wireless charging cradle and the long-awaited AirPower wireless pad. Apple

Other rumors I guess the wireless charging pad, AirPower will soon be with us with AirPods compatibility thanks to a new case of wireless charging.

Everything points to the assumption that at some point in March, Apple will release AirPower, new iPads ( and maybe a new iPod ) and maybe new AirPods 2 too.

Then this software may be running a day or two after that.

I'll report when more leaks appear, but you might want to make a pencil in March 2019

The fingers have passed.
