The American representative, Alexandria Occasio-Cortez, stirred up on Sunday to explain why the neighbors of her Bronx address had never seen her there – and finally claimed she had recently moved to a larger place nearby. They said they had never seen her around – and she had encountered questions about it after her appearance – her spokesman said the Democratic brigade congressman now lives with his friend in a two-bedroom apartment "a block and a half away."
"She lives in the same neighborhood she's lived in for years," spokeswoman Corbin Trent said. "She does not live in the same apartment."
The last move still does not explain why the inhabitants of her previous ditches ̵
US officials and senators are required to have a home in their native regions.
Trent claims 29-year-old Occasio-Cortez was in his new home on Sunday afternoon, although he did not give the address.
Occasio-Cortez, a former bartender who has become a progressive champion, has literally asked questions about his stay after his appearance on Saturday in Queens. She told Post to wait for her to shoot her for a photo – then she got out of the back door and the waiting jeep. Occasio-Cortes claims that since 2011 she has lived in an apartment without a fourth floor. in Parkchester, which, according to records, was bought by her late father, Sergio Ocasio, who died in 2008.
After The Post reported to a neighbor and another resident on the fourth floor saying that they had never seen the self-proclaimed Socialist Living there, Trent denied residents' allegations, saying that her family's apartment "was home, a period for her," according to the Daily Mail. She not only lives there, there is her heart, and the period, "Trent said of" Post ", who added that he was talking about the family home.
But even a third-person on the fourth floor, who gave his name as Mrs. Gonasles, told The Post on Sunday that she had never seen Occasio-Cortez there.
Later in the day, Trent claims that the post is wrong and that his comments to the site refer to the Bronx as a whole. Still, asked if he was misinterpreted, Trent would only say that the "Post" might be "wrong." He did not answer the question whether he would ask for a withdrawal.
Trent said he was "insecure", his boss changed his address to the voter registration form.
Occasio-Cortes made headlines in November when he said he could not afford an apartment in Washington after the unexpected major victory over the 10-year-old Joseph Crowley because
Earlier this month, Washington's free beacon revealed that Occasio-Cortes has moved into a luxury residential building in the DC naval district. Cortez no longer had the money because she had "paid now," and that she and Roberts were "able to manage" the cost of maintaining two homes.
