Between the shortage of deliveries and the distributed release date, the PlayStation 5 is almost impossible to buy. So imagine what it should be like if you were able to pre-order, wait patiently for the day of release and then never see the console show up. This is what some people in the UK have had to endure on the last day.
Like Eurogamer points out that since the console came out across the lake on Nov. 19, there have been numerous messages on Twitter and Reddit from Amazon UK providers that change the contents of the PS5 delivery for something else. No one has received a box full of stones (yet), but the substitutions are different: pet food, a foot massager and a bag of bulgur. And while the content of the packages is different, the stories are mostly played out in the same way. The package slows down and when it finally appears, it is sealed with transparent tape instead of the Amazon Prime-branding trademark.
