Amber Portwood is clear to her probation officer over alleged threats she made against YouTuber … because this woman has no direct connection to her case.
TMZ broke the story … Katie Joy – the woman behind a crystal ball account on YouTube who documents a domestic violence case in Amber, including the video and audio of the entire blast between Amber and Andrew Glennon – Contacted the authorities after Amber allegedly targeted some Instagram Live threats against her.
The Portwood Probation Officer was notified of Katie's release but the Marion County Probation Department in Indiana tells us … this does not constitute a violation. .
We are told that Joy was not named in the Amber Test Order, so any alleged threats to and for themselves do not constitute a probation violation. If Katie was on the list, it would be a different story.
The ICJ Department of Probation says the only way to influence Portwood's probation is if PD Indianapolis arrests her or if she is sentenced to threaten Joy.
Given Katie did not file a police report in Indiana, which does not seem likely … and our Indiana law enforcement sources confirm that Amber was not investigated. However, sources close to Katie say he reported where he lives in Minnesota … but was told by police that they couldn't do much.
As to why Portwood is on probation … you will recall that she pleaded guilty to two crimes – domestic battery and intimidation – in her domestic violence case with Glennon. She was given a 906-day probationary period, but if this was violated, the judge could sentence her to a severe sentence.
