Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were once one of the most famous celebrity couples in Hollywood. Pete and Jolie got married in August 2014, but unfortunately the movie stars split two years later because of "family health". Together, the couple has 6 children, three biological children and three of whom were adopted.
Jolie and Pete try to keep the children out of the public eye as much as possible. This may be for good reason; Maleficent actress, 44, told Entertainment Weekly in October that sometimes people's comments about her children make her want to "get up and fight."
For Angelina Jolie, films like " Maleficent 'help children and their parents find a way to link Disney's
sequel Maleficent to debut on October 18 this year; the original for 2014 made $ 750 million. In Maleficent: Mistress of Evil the title character of Jolie and Aurora, played by Elle Fanning, fights new enemies. One of those enemies is Aurora's future father-in-law, played by Michelle Pfeifer.
Jolie said in an interview with EW that this sequel, compared to its predecessor, would "really determine what Maleficent is". But equally important is Aurora's story – and how the two work together as a parent and child.
"Even if you are Maleficent, it's really hard to have a teenager, to be a parent and to embrace new things when they come into your life," Jolie said. Although the movie is a fantastic story, she believes that all parents can relate to the witch's struggle. But it also reflects what Jolie sees in society.
"I think it speaks to the dangers of being afraid of someone who is different and you feel you have to fight them instead of accepting the difference," Jolie says. It became even more serious when the conflict that gave rise to this intolerance erupted.
"There are wars because there are fears of difference and a desire to destroy or divide people because they are different," she says.
Jolie, 44, tells Maleficent the sequel is related to her experience with her children
"No one expected" a sequel, Jolie told EW. But it was difficult for the cast and crew not to think about what they would do.
"There were jokes like 'What is it like to grow up with a mom like Maleficent?'," said actress Changeling . Or, "Wait for Aurora to hit her teenage years."
, to activate the teen drama means to bring the fictional world into something new.
"We became a family, but the rest the world was not ready for this, "Jolie explained. This concept is too related to star Lara Croft : Tomb Raider star.
Angelina Jolie hates that she is still getting this comment as an adopter in 2019
Jolie found some of the topics during Maleficent came too close to home.
"My children are from different parts of the world," she said of her family, which is semi-adoptive, half biological, "This is sensitive to me when someone says, 'Because you don't look like yourself, you can't m you will be a mother. There is really nothing else in the world to shape Jolie like this type of comment.
"If I needed something to get me up and fighting, that would be the moment," she told EW.
