Apple Cancels Premiere of Banker's Original Movie Starring Samuel L. Jackson for "Concerns"

Apple made the surprising decision to download its original film The Banker from the annual festival at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. The movie is set to premiere at the festival tomorrow, but now the release date is unclear.

As reported by The New York Times Apple The Banker was set to premiere tomorrow at AFI Fest in Los Angeles, with a theatrical release on December 6 and December 6 Apple TV + availability. Banker was scheduled to premiere at AFI Fest on Thursday night's coveted Thursday Night Slot.

In a statement, Apple said it was aware of "some worries" about the movie last week. Together with the filmmakers, Apple then decided to delay its debut:

"Last week, some concerns about the movie were presented to us," Apple said in a statement on Wednesday. "We, along with the filmmakers, need some time to look into these issues and determine the best next steps."

Apple has not yet decided on the theatrical release of the movie, according to New York Times . The American Film Institute has not received a message about the change to date, which further indicated what the last minute of the Apple decision was.

The Banker is one of the earliest original Apple movies for Apple TV +. There was a lot of anticipation about his release and the fact that he was accepted for the AFI Fest night closing time was an indication that The Banker could have potential for rewards.
