It seems that Apple has downloaded the latest macOS security update Mojave (2020-005), which was released on September 24 together with the macOS update Catalina 10.15.7. Apple also removed Safari 14 for macOS Mojave from the download.
Both the Mojave security update and the Safari 14 update created many problems for those who still work with macOS Mojave, as pointed out by Mr. Macintosh.
MacOS Mojave users who have installed updates have noticed memory problems, slow loading and shutdown times of the Finder, numerous system.logs are triggered and crash when trying to use the migration assistant, among other problems. Complaints about the update began shortly after its release, but Apple did not download the updates until yesterday.
Those who have already downloaded the Mojave security update or installed Safari 14 should soon receive a patch in the form of updated software that addresses the errors entered. Restoring a Time Machine backup, reinstalling macOS Mojave, or installing macOS Catalina also seems to solve the problem successfully.
