Arcade 1Up – known for recreating classic titles of arcade cabinets such as Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam – opened a cabinet for the release of Rare in 1994, Killer instinct. This is the same game that was ported to Super Nintendo a year later – although there are remarkable differences between the two versions.
This cabinet includes a number of other rare games. It has been a sequel since 1996. The killer instinct 2,, Battle peaks (arcade version) and Battletoads & Double Dragon (1993).
“Killer Instinct ™. The fans liked it, the critics liked it. For many retrogamer enthusiasts, this is the final title from the mid-90s, with all the homage to gameplay, soundtrack and 3D visualized graphics. Experience this era of video games with this stop ̵1; an arcade cabinet that you find in your aisles that also includes a bonus game Killer Instinct 2 ™, Battletoads) (yes, the arcade version!) and Battletoads ™ / Double Dragon ™. “
The cabinet itself can support up to two players, includes a “live wifi feature” – allowing you to compete online and can be elevated.
“Need to add a little height to this cabinet? No problem, the included matching riser takes you there. Do you want to choose a remote battle? The Live WiFi feature allows you to play opponents anywhere, playing from their own cabinet.”
There is still no word on the release date, and the design or artwork is not yet final. What do you think? Is this the arcade cabinet you’ve been waiting for? Leave a comment below.
