Assistant from Alabama leaves for Steve Sarkisian’s offensive coordinator in Texas



Two years ago, Kyle Flood followed Steve Sarkisian from the Falcons in Atlanta to Alabama.

Now he is set to follow Sarkisian once again.

Flood, Crimson Tide’s offensive line coach for the past two seasons, has been hired to coordinate Sarkisian’s offensive offensive lines and coach offensive lines in Texas, sources confirmed to AL.com.

The news was first reported by ESPN radio.

Under Flood, the Alabama offensive line was the winner of the Joe Moore Award for this season, which is given to the largest offensive line in the country.

7; offensive line, Flood was a senior coach at the Rutgers from 2012-15.
