(WHDH) – Authorities at an airport in India recently smashed a passenger who had about two kilograms of gold hidden in his rectum, officials said.
The passenger was stopped by customs officers after arriving at Kannur Airport in Kerala from Dubai on Tuesday, the customs commission said.
Officials later removed a pound of flattened precious metal that the man had inserted into his body.

It was established that another passenger in the same flight had three pounds of gold, according to the information. Officials did not reveal where the struck metal was hidden.
