The Lakers said Avery Bradley would receive a ring if he won the championship.
But Bradley, who sat on the NBA restart, expressed uncertainty about its acceptance.
Now that the Lakers have won the title, how is he feeling?
Dave McMenamine and Malika Andrews of ESPN:
Pelinka has already said that Bradley will get a ring.
“You’re playing your whole career working for the championship,” Bradley said, “and knowing I’ve been so close and part of something, even though I wasn’t there, it’s still an amazing feeling.”
Bradley absolutely deserves a ring. He was on the team when he won the title. So simple.
Bradley also helped the Lakers win No. 1
Perhaps we would have complained more about Bradley’s absence if guards like Rajon Rondo and Kentavid Caldwell-Pope hadn’t stepped up. But they did, and the Lakers won.
So, Bradley deserves to win some of the prizes – like getting a ring.
