Babylon with 5 stars and the lost actress Mira Furlan passes
Mira Furlan, the actress who played Minbari Ambassador Delen in the science fiction series Babylon 5, Has passed away. She was 65 years old. The creator of Babylon 5, J. Michael Straczynski, confirmed the news on Twitter. He also shared a long tribute to Furlan.

In his letter, Stracinski touched on Furlan’s story as an actress in Croatia who was forced to flee Croatia’s war of independence with her husband, director Goran Gaic. Despite threats to his life, Furlan remained part of a traveling theater group in the midst of the war. Nevertheless, Furlan belittled her actions, according to Straczynski.

Furlan is also based on her personal story when she portrayed Delan for five seasons Babylon 5.
