Battlefield 2042 is approaching the future of PS5 and PS4, coming out in October

After months of waiting, the next entry in the Battlefield franchise took hours before the trailer was released. It’s called Battlefield 2042 and will launch for both the PlayStation 5 and PS4 on October 15, 2021. The game is heading for the near future to be exact 2042. That is, if the title has not already distributed it. The main art for the title and screenshots are visible below.

The leak came through Reddit, with details for sharing the site uploaded ahead of time on the Origin website. The description of Battlefield 2042 is as follows: “The United States and Russia are on the brink of war. Proxy wars have been fought for decades, generating experienced but displaced combat veterans. These professionals use their skills to shape the future ̵

1; the future for which you are it’s worth fighting for. “

It will have seven new cards that support up to 128 players, from “Seoul Cities to the deserts of Egypt, each card offers a unique experience based on the natural environment.” The new Specialist system allows you to choose from four different classes, each with its own specialties and characteristics, while weapons, vehicles and gadgets are fully adaptable. You can even “summon a robotic dog built for battle, use a grappling hook, or put on your own suit.”

There will be an open beta, Year 1 Pass, complete with Battle Passes, and three editions to choose from: Standard, Gold and Ultimate. Although the information was not confirmed at the time of writing, the leak seems perfectly legal, with high-resolution screenshots and everything else. We think it is very safe to say that this is the real deal. We will update this article after the trailer disappears later today.
