Chicago will be left without its initial right-hand question on Monday Night Football.
The Bears, who fight Bobby Massie, were listed among the inactive teams before Monday night's game against the Washington Reds. He did not appear in the injury report this week.
The Bears confirmed to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo that Massie was ill. Sources have told Garafolo that Massey is engaged in vertigo.
Massie started to the right in two Chicago games this season and started all 46 regular-season games he has played with the Bears since joining the organization in 201
Behind Massie in the depth chart is Cornelius Lucas, a six-year-old player with only eight careers, is starting to make his name. He registered only nine special teams, snapping in Chicago's first two games.
Chicago also has Rashad Strahlivets and Ted Larsen among its O-line reserves.
