One of our favorite families gathers just in time for Thanksgiving. On Friday, Will Smith gave fans a first look The fresh prince of Bel Air collection specially.
He posted the trailer on his Instagram page with a touching caption. “These are the people who made me the man I am today,” he wrote. “And I couldn’t let that day go by without noting the occasion.” The special recording was recorded on September 10, the 30th anniversary of the premiere date of the original series.
The trailer includes the cast, which gathers in the iconic living room, where so much laughter and love were shared in the favorite original sitcom. During part of the special cast, he shared little-known stories about the series. Smith revealed that Jazz Jeff initially refused to participate in the show.

“Jeff turned down the show literally ten times,” Smith said. “Will is very good at pushing me to things,” Jeff added.
Daphne Maxwell Reed shared that she is not excited about the idea of joining the cast as the second aunt Vivian. “They said, ‘We want you to audition for this new rapper series.’ I said “Surrender,” she said, making Smith throw his head back in laughter.
Tatiana Ali (Ashley Banks), Karin Parsons (Hillary Banks), Joseph Marcel (Jeffrey Butler), Daphne Maxwell Reed (who played the second Vivian Banks) and Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton Banks) joined Smith on the set with DJ Jazyzy.
