Former Vice President Joe Biden offered an apology late Tuesday for earlier citing Clinton's impeachment as a "guerrilla lynch" just hours after convicting President Trump of referring to their own impeachment with the same term.
Trump was widely criticized for claiming on Twitter that Republicans were witnessing "lynching." Several Democrats in 2020 have been piling up against the president, including the leader of 2020. "Our country has a grim, shameful history of lynching, and even thinking about how to make that comparison is disgusting. It's contemptuous."
