Billy Aish has released his new single “My Future”. She wrote and recorded the recording (produced by her brother FINNEAS) during the coronavirus block. “This is a really personal and special song for me,” Ailish wrote in a statement to fans. “When we wrote this song, that’s where my head was – with hope, an excited and terrible surge of self-reflection and self-expansion. But lately, it has taken on a very new meaning in the context of what is happening in the world now. I hope you can all find meaning in this for yourself. “Watch Billy Ailish’s” My Future “video (animated by Andrew Honorato) below. Scroll down for the individual artworks.

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Billy Isle and FINNEAS have made several appearances for the benefits of live streaming: They were at the iHeart Living Room concert for America in March, performing an acoustic version of the Grammy-winning hit “Bad Guy.” The two then aired on Global Citizen One World: Together at Home in April, embracing Bobby Hebb’s “Sunny” soul classic.
In May 2020, Ailish released a short film with a title It is not my responsibility, which focused on public opinion and perceptions of body and clothing choices. The film was originally part of the stage production for the arena tour behind him When we fall asleep, where do we go?, which lasted only a few days before she was forced to cancel her remaining scheduled broadcasts due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier this year, Billy Ailish launched a new radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio platform. The program entitled radio and me includes conversations between Ailish and her father about music.
