The leading bitcoin for digital assets was mentioned in the action drama TV show “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”. The reference to bitcoin was caught by Redditor while he was watching the latest episode. This is not the first time bitcoin has been mentioned on television and it will certainly not be the last.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and the 1K Bitcoin Prize
On Friday, a member of the Reddit r / bitcoin forum posted a screenshot of a message on the TV show “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”. The show originates from Marvel Cinematic Universe and is broadcast on the Disney + platform. The picture Redditor shared was for a BTC award and said, “Selby is dead. ₿1K BOUNTY for her killers. “
Bitcoin.com readers can check out a reference in episode three called “Power Broker.” At the time of publication, the prize of 1,000 BTC will be close to $ 60 million.
Redditor said it thought it was cool, but it was much cooler when BTC was mentioned on television years ago. He said:
I watched the latest episode of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” on Disney +. I noticed this text message on the TV show. I thought it was cool, I decided to share. Of course, many bitcoiners know that BTC has been mentioned on television many times in the past. Most recently, the TV show “Shameless” refers to bitcoin (BTC) and ethereum (ETH). The first mention of BTC on television was in the 2012 episode of The Good Wife, and The Simpsons’ Closti Clown mentioned BTC the following year. On December 12, 2013, the late Alex Trebek used the digital asset in season 30 of Jeopardy.

Of course, the question was “What is bitcoin”, and the digital asset continues to be called in popular TV shows. BTC has appeared in shows such as “Morgan Spurlock Inside Man”, “Navy CIS LA”, “Almost Man”, “House of Cards”, “Mr. Robot ”and others. “Only Paypal gave me some bitcoins,” they said on the well-known 2014 show Parks and Recreation.
