Black Friday TV offers: $ 250 TCL 55-inch, $ 398 Samsung 58-inch, Sony OLED on sale now

This story is part of Holiday Gift Guide 2020Choose CNET gifts with expert advice, reviews and recommendations for the latest technology gifts for you and your family.

You don’t have to wait Black Friday or Cyber Monday to make big deals on TV, sales have already started! The big retailers started their sales earlier than ever during this holiday season. Best buy and Target launch its sales events this Sunday, November 22, and more retailers, including Walmart, also spread their sales in the days and weeks before Black Friday itself (technically November 27 this year). Most importantly, they will focus on online orders and contactless pickups to maintain social distance.

But one thing that hasn̵

7;t changed is that no matter where and how you do your holiday shopping, this is the best time of year to get an amazing deal on TV. Below you will find all the best black friday tv deals we know about right now if you are looking for a new TV (for yourself or as a gift!). Please note that prices and inventory are subject to change without notice, but were accurate at the time of publication.

Best buy

TCL is best known for its Roku TVs and we like the Roku smart TV system better than the Android TV version on this TV, but at this price you can just buy a Roku Streaming Stick Plus, attach it to this TV and again to come forward. In addition to its intelligence, we expect this 4-Series TV to perform “well enough”, just like the Roku equivalent.

Keep in mind that last week it was $ 50 cheaper and therefore could be again – but for now it’s still a really solid deal for a 55-inch smart TV.

Although this Samsung is currently listed as part of Walmart’s November 25 sale, it is now available at Best Buy for the same price. This is not the cheapest TV on the market with this size and we expect models like the Vizio M-Series (which has local dimming) to perform better, but if you like the Samsung brand, this is a very good price.

We haven’t reviewed this OLED, but we expect its image quality to be similar to the LG CX (as in: spectacular), and in Best Buy the 65-inch size is on sale and is currently lower than the CX. We would still take the CX, mainly because Sony lacks cutting-edge gaming extras. But if it doesn’t matter to you – or for some reason you like Sony better – it’s a great deal.

The best offers for Black Friday are coming soon

The following offers are not yet available, but they will appear soon. Patience, Padavan distributes.

We’ve seen 70-inch TVs up to $ 400, but that’s still a very good price for a giant TV. This model (V705x-H1) is very similar to the V705-H3, which currently sells for $ 660. The V-Series is Vizio’s cheapest TV for 2020, and although we haven’t looked at it, we expect initial picture quality: good enough for most people, but not as good as something like the M-Series.

This transaction will be available online from 16:00 PT (19:00 ET) on Wednesday, November 25th.

This is technically a deal after Black Friday, but it’s still enough to get involved here. This is an incredible price for a 50-inch TV, so expect it to sell out almost immediately.

Black Friday deals that are exhausted or expired

The deals below are gone, but since they can be returned at any time, we keep them here for now.

The best TV we’ve ever looked at is in a whole other league compared to the doors on this list, and that’s the best price of the year. We do not expect it to fall too much this year, but even if it does, the drop in prices will not be huge. Read our review of the LG CX-Series.

This 55-inch above is excellent, but if you can afford it, get this 65-inch. This is the size of the sweet spot for the LG CX – it’s big enough to really appreciate its stellar image quality. Read our review of the LG OLEDCX series.

Distinctive signs

This slightly larger Insignia recently sold for $ 150, but Best Buy cut another $ 10 off the price.

The best TV deal in Target’s early Black Friday sale is for another 70-inch TV we haven’t reviewed. LG OLED kits (see below) will provide a much better picture, but if you can’t afford a better TV and you don’t like Hisense above, that’s still a very good price.

This transaction is not currently in stock online, but may be available at your local store.

Best buy

We have not reviewed this kit and based on its specifications we do not expect it to match the picture quality of the best 75-inch models, but if you prioritize one big picture over everything else, this is the cheapest price we have had. for a 70-inch TV, period. Like TCL above, it works with Android TV.

Speaking of TCL, this is the best price we’ve seen on a 55-inch TV this year. It’s essentially the same as the 55S425, which we liked so much, for about half the lowest price of this model of all time. Just like that TV Onn above, we expect it to sell out quickly.

This TV is the first item listed in a November 11 Walmart ad before Black Friday, so expect it to sell out quickly. The Onn house brand is not known for global image quality, but we expect it to perform well, as does the TCL 4-Series (see below) and has the same great Roku operating system.

We haven’t reviewed Vizio’s first OLED TV yet – the company is late with sample delivery due to COVID-19 – but Vizio TVs have performed well in past reviews and this price, compared to something like the CX above, may be too much. good to surrender.

As with the LG CX above, there is also a 65-inch size (again only for Best Buy members) for $ 1,500.

Note that this deal has expired (although it may be back soon) and when it was available, it was reserved for Best Buy members only.
