Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer adds a long-awaited feature PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC players are asking for this from the start. In particular, Treyarch’s community manager, on Reddit, confirmed that Ranked Play is coming into the game, but the community manager does not currently have a sharing schedule. And there are currently zero details on how it will be implemented and what it means for the game’s multiplayer mode.
For example, it is unclear whether random playlists will continue to use skill-based matchmaking, also known as SBMM. Rated mode and random mode using SBMM are more or less the same thing, so if you add ranked mode, you would assume that SBMM will be removed or at least reduced in random playlists. For now, however, these are just speculations.
Unfortunately, until Treyarch confirms that the feature is under development, there is no information on when it will be implemented or when more details will be shared.
It is not clear why Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War it is not shipped with ranked mode and it is also not clear why it has not been added yet. There is a lot of demand from the start, but we have been removed from the release for two months and it has not been added yet.
In addition to ranked mode, it also looks Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is getting ready to add one of Modern Warfare̵
