Black Panther 2 Starts filming in July, adds a new cast member – / Film

Pictures of Black Panther 2 in July

After black Panther star Chadwick Bosemanis a surprising and tragic death, we guessed Marvel Studios and directed Ryan Kugler would set the planned Black Panther 2 in the background as they mourned and figured out the best way to move forward with the continuation of the billion-dollar strike.

But apparently they have already invented things ̵

1; or at least to such an extent that the date of the start of production has already been set. A new report says that Black Panther 2 filming will begin in July 2021, just four months after the initial planned start of production. Not only that, but an actor was found in the film to play one of his villains.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog reports Black Panther 2 will go on camera in Atlanta in July 2021 and filming is expected to last “more than six months.” It’s been a very long time, even for an oversized superhero like this. (For comparison, the original black Panther shot in less than four months.)

Meanwhile, a Mexican actor Tenoch Huertawho appeared in Kari Fukunaga Nameless, Sand Mendes’ film about Bond The ghost, and who plays Rafael Caro Quintero in the Netflix series Narcos: Mexico, was chosen for a key role. THR says it will play one of the film’s antagonists, but there is still no word on who exactly this could be. IN The Avengers: The ultimate game, there was a reference to earthquakes occurring below sea level, which makes many wonder if this lays the groundwork for Namor submarine to appear Black Panther 2. To be clear, we have no idea if this will actually happen, but since there is nothing else to go on, the wild speculation that Huerta could play an underwater inhabitant is the best we can do right now.

Unfortunately, this new report does not answer the question that everyone has Black Panther 2: how the hell will Marvel move forward with this franchise without its star? We know they won’t use CGI Boseman to create a full show (thank God) and there are some rumors that Leticia Wright’s Shuri may take a bigger role in the story, but that still doesn’t look at how the characters will react to the absence. of T’Challa or how this absence will be treated in history. Will they kill the character off screen? This feels a little harsh, but in retrospect I would prefer Lucasfilm to take this approach with Carrie Fisher’s General Leia in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker than try to build a story around a few homeless lines and footage from deleted scenes. Perhaps the most likely solution is to remake the character completely, a choice full of your own challenges.

We’ll let you know as soon as we learn more about Marvel’s approach to this sequel.
