Dave Creek, the lead animator of the incredibly popular adult animated series, Bob burgers, was tragically killed in a parachute crash at the age of 42.

Creek – whose Instagram page shows that he was an avid and experienced parachutist – also loved woodworking and built a complex tree house documenting the whole process on social media.
The official Bob burgers The Twitter account shared the following confession to the favorite animator:
We are devastated by the tragic passing of Dave Creek, an extraordinary artist who has been with Bob’s burgers since day one. He was not only an incredible talent, but also a handsome man, and our hearts go out to his family, friends and all his colleagues on the show who loved and grieved him today.

The Bob burgers The franchise joined the Walt Disney Company family of brands when Disney completed its acquisition of 20th Century Fox – now 20th Century Studios – in March 2019.
Fans and colleagues remember Creek on social media. Bob burgers producer Wendy Molino shared a particularly touching tribute, writing:
If you love Bob’s burgers, you’ve loved Dave Creek. He was an adventurous fun outgoing amazing artist and one of the most amazing, interesting people I have ever met. I often thought that Dave really knew how to live and I would like to live a little longer. Rest in peace, friend.

Walt Disney Studios is scheduled to release Bob burgers film in 2021, with the entire cast and creative team intact – no doubt Creek will be greatly missed in professional quality as work on the upcoming animated film continues.
According to our previous coverage, Bob burgers due out on April 9. According to IMDb, the film was originally scheduled to debut on July 17, 2020 – ironically, the 65th anniversary of Disneyland Resort – but was postponed due to the pandemic.
