During today’s briefing on COVID-19, the Minister of Health and Humanitarian Services in California, Dr. Mark Galli, finally gave up-to-date information on the long-awaited guides for the opening of the theme park.
Dr. Ghaly spoke about visits to currently open theme parks, such as Walt Disney World, noting higher and lower risk settings:
Theme parks will be “divided into parts” to represent all brands and sizes of theme parks in the industry. Here are the new guidelines for theme parks:

All guests are expected to participate in a booking system to facilitate contact tracking. Face masks will be mandatory unless you are actively eating or drinking while you are socially distant.
During last week’s update, Dr. Ghaly reiterated that Orange County, which includes Anaheim and Disneyland, was still under the red code “Significant.” We will continue to inform you about the new levels.
