The Bucs received one lead from Heinicke, as ILB̵
“I believe we took possession after [his interception]so we went up early in the game, “Murphy-Bunting said.” It was just a spark we needed. We started somehow slowly, really on both sides of the ball and this spark made us some points on the board, some points that came in at halftime and we really needed that. “

The next drive of the football team started great when Heinicke was thrown out of his pocket, but managed to get out of a 24-yard pass to TE Logan Thomas. In the next game, Heinicke hooked an arrow on the left seam to McLaurin for another 18 yards to get the ball in the middle. Two plays later, Heinicke slipped out of an almost sack and climbed down for the first time at the Bucks’ 21st to end the first quarter. After the teams changed sides, the Bucs forced a third and eight, but Heinicke came down from heaven under pressure from the Sims for 10 yards and first down at nine.
