After yesterday's eventual nail stunning, Dodgers were again tested against Marlins today.
I blame myself. saved them with their current hero and they took Marlins with 10-6 points. Clayton Kershaw was perfect in three innings and seemed so dominating that it was hard not to wonder if things could become serious. However, he allowed a unit of swinging rebellion in front of the plate that was the fault of Kershaw after he and Austin Barnes could not decide who would take it, and then gave up
But he ran away from this jam, and these were the only two blows he refused in the night. Hell, he only allowed one walk, six innings, and 10 beats off.
Yes, these are Marlins, but he was good enough to dominate every team and the slider had this perfect depth.
Offensive, as mentioned earlier, Yok played the Dodgers team with his 22nd Homer of the Year
The bats remained quiet from there to the 4th. Max Munsie Corry Sayiger hit a single single to start the rally. Then Austin Barnes arrived with a double to leave the two contestants and make 3-0. Kersho was the next one and he did his first year with Singles to make him 4-0, which is more than enough with the way he threw it. Dodgers decided to add anyway in the 5th, and again with two outs. Justin Turner broke his 13th homer of the year to death to make him 5-0. JT Chargois entered Kershaw's relief in the 7th and recorded two attacks, but gave up a homer doing 6-1. Then nothing was thinking about it.
Then the eighth happened. Chargois gave up a single unit and was replaced by Caleb Ferguson who immediately solved twice (after Corey Seager released a parachute pop-up) to put Marlins in the business. One walk loaded the foundations and it was removed for Yimi Garcia . They sacrificed flight and reloaded, bumping the bases that put a pair that scored two and made a sudden play with 6-4.
After the attack on the pitch, Pedro Baez ] was thrown into the fire with loaded bases and one outside. Enrique Hernandez who came second for an outs and tried to finish the double game, but bounced first. Munsie instead of blocking him to defend the lead, let him jump past him and enter the dungeon to tie the game to 6-6. Baez had escaped to put an end to the threat, but the damage had been done and that was catastrophic.
That's why Bitty exists. At the bottom of the eighth, Cory Segre doubled and Austin Barnes set off by putting the Beaty scene to hit. All he did was Homer for the third consecutive game to put them on 9-6.
Together with a pimp and standing ovations and everything else. Casey Sadler was the one who finished the game thanks to the four-handed management and he had to get four outs thanks to a mistake, but he continued to impress with his brief presence so far.
