Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Receives Two New Cards, Hardpoint Mode, Battle Pass in December

A stream of new content heads to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare this Friday, November 8th. In addition, Activision has revealed that a new combat pass system is due to be introduced later this year in December. During tomorrow's update, fans will be treated to two new cards and will see the addition of Hardpoint.Activision and Infinity Ward have decided to get rid of their traditional season pass system and instead engage in a combat pass. The decision to get rid of the season pass means that future add-ons and game modes will come to all players on all platforms at no extra cost.

are called Shoot House and Krovnik Farmland – one of which was revealed to expire earlier this week. The new cards will be accompanied by the addition of Hardpoint mode, which forces players to try to take control of the change of places on the hardpoint.

The new Shoot House card, when released during gameplay, aims to put players in close quarters and will be available as a multiplayer card. The Krovnik Farmland map, on the other hand, will only be available in Ground War mode. Next month's game will feature the first of its kind Call of Duty Battle Pass, which will aim to keep the loot boxes away from the series. Details of exactly how the pass will work will still be scarce, but Activision has confirmed that Bitcoin will offer free and premium content streams. You can expect more details on the Battle of Modern Warfare battle in the coming weeks as the year draws to a close.
