It turns out that men really aren’t dogs.
A married couple in Quebec has apparently decided to try a loophole that they believe has been found in local coronavirus regulations. Unfortunately, the authorities did not agree that the spouses could be considered “pets”.
Authorities noticed the wife leading her husband on a leash last Saturday around 9pm in an attempt to circumvent a curfew imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. In Quebec, residents are allowed to walk dogs after the hour comes into force, provided they stay close to their homes, the BBC reports.

Apparently, the woman tried to claim that she was walking her dog when she was approached by the authorities. The acquittal reportedly did not convince officers (apparently men can be trained to use the toilet and do not require walks in the same way as dogs), and the man and woman were fined more than $ 12,000 for violating curfews.
Officials reportedly told local media that the couple did not cooperate with police.
The woman also stated that she does not intend to pay the fine, Insider reports.
