With the debut of iOS 14, the hugely popular Carrot Weather program is a major update that brings support for all-new gadgets on the home screen. There is also support for the many complications of the Apple Watch with watchOS 7 and a gallery of time-focused dials that you can download. Read together to see the rich new widgets and convenient custom settings you can create.
Carrot Weather for iOS 14 (version 4.16) includes 5 new types of widgets in three different sizes for a total of 12 options. These include Snark, Forecast, Hourly, Daily and Weather Map. I was checking out the early build of the edition and they offer a really great experience.
You can use multiple Carrot Weather widgets on the home screen or other page of the app, or also create a Carrot Weather Smart Stack to easily navigate through all 5 widgets.
And in addition to the 12 great gadget options, you can customize gadgets with backgrounds or, for example, with the Weather Map gadget, choose which layer you want to use. Note that level 1 – 3 in-app purchases are required to unlock all widgets.
Just long press the widget> tap Edit widget.
Remember that you can make your own smart stacks by adding multiple gadgets (the same size) and then dragging them on top of each other. In the future, you can long press a custom Smart Stack and tap Edit Stack to display or remove widgets.
Carrot time on watchOS 7
Carrot Weather also gets support for a number of complications with the Apple Watch and demonstrates great use of the new dial-sharing feature. With the latest update, you can make seriously customized time dials with a total of 25 carrot complications to choose from.
In the iPhone app, you’ll find a number of clean Apple Carrot faces that you can use. These include those based on Infrograph Modular, Infograph, Activity and others with rich meteorological data. You can, of course, also use them as inspiration to create your own dials.
Carrot Weather for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch is a $ 4.99 download with in-app purchases of $ 0.99 per month to unlock first-class features like Apple Watch complications and advanced gadgets for iOS 14.

Home screen gadgets
Check the time right from the home screen with my new iOS 14 widgets! There are 5 different types of widgets: Snark, Forecast, Hourly, Daily and Weather Maps. Just long press the widget to customize it with all sorts of different options. Plus: if you put all the widgets in a stack, you can have your entire prediction in one place on the home screen.
(Note: Similar to Apple Watch’s complication pricing, frequent background updates for gadgets require at least first-line membership due to the amount of time data used throughout the day. Hourly and daily gadgets require level 1, while the Weather Maps gadget requires a level 3)
Multiple complications (level 1 required)
Use the many complications of CARROTS to create your own time clock! Choose from a huge variety of MARKOV complications with just a long press on the dial of your Apple Watch. (Turn on temperature sensation or add additional, fully customized complications from my iPhone app.)
Watch Face Gallery (level 1 required)

Weather maps (level 2 required)
Follow the forest fire started by your sex-revealing party with the new layer of forest fires. There is also a new map layer for meteorological fronts and support for European countries in the map layer with warnings of severe weather conditions. Last but certainly not least, animations now load 10 times faster!
But wait, that’s not all!
– A new Snark complication can now be added to the large Infograph Modular face slot.
– Pollen data is now available to ClimaCell users in the United States
– Locations, weather maps and setting buttons can now be found at the bottom of the Apple Watch app interface.
– Lightning strikes with bolt icons instead of small circles now appear on the time map.
– Two new alternate application icons, Neumorph Dark and Pride.
Once you apply this update, it’s best to start collecting nuts for the winter. By 2020, there is still a lot of bad news to go around.
