CDC: Teen gives COVID-19 to 11 relatives in 4 countries

The report says the original patient, a 13-year-old girl, was exposed to COVID-19 during a major outbreak in June. A rapid antigen test four days after exposure is negative before symptoms begin. Two days later, she had a stuffy nose, her only symptom. That day, she traveled with her parents and two siblings to attend a large family reunion that began the next day, according to a CDC report.
