CWD affects the brain, spinal cord and other tissues of deer
The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism says in the last seven years 168 animals have been tested positive for the disease.
"Most of the time, the animal that has CWD, you could not tell by looking at it if it's sick or not, but if it's sick, wildlife and parks do not recommend eating any sick wildlife," said Shane
