Clark, 7 other counties at increased risk of COVID-19 transmission

CARSON CITY, New. (CLASS) – Eight Nevada counties must submit assessments and action plans once they have been put at risk of transmitting the disease. The Nevada Health Response Team identified Clark County as well as:

  • Carson City
  • Elko
  • Humboldt
  • Lander
  • Lincoln
  • new
  • Washoe

These locations meet two or more of the criteria set out in the new road to recovery: moving to a new normal plan.

The team says each county has been notified and will begin taking the next steps. District officials and government officials will coordinate the data survey through an evaluation plan.

The counties will then create and present an action plan, which the Nevada Health Response Team will review and determine approval.

Another county survey will take place on August 1

3th. If they again meet two or more criteria, they will implement approved plans to fight the spread of the virus on August 14.

If the county meets zero or is only one of the criteria, they will not have to take action. However, the health response team says they need to remain active in mitigation.
