AURORA, Colorado. (CBS4) – The first In-N-Out Burger ever served in Colorado is history. Socially distant crowds lined up in Aurora at one of the two restaurants, the fast food chain, which opened on Friday, and the first burgers were devoured by smiling patrons.
The Aurora Restaurant is located at 14150 Avenue Alameda Avenue, and another is now open in Colorado Springs. Aurora’s location is in the heart of the Aurora Town Center and is the former home of TGI Fridays.
At 10:15 a.m., the line at Aurora’s place wrapped around Town Center.
At around 11 a.m., Aurora police warned that the line was affecting traffic and creating backups in the area.
