Words from CD Projekt Red co-executive Adam Kicinski do not inspire confidence in the new release date of Cyberpunk 2077. In case you haven’t heard in any way, the open world role-playing game has recently been delayed. again on all platforms. It was scheduled to arrive on November 19, but was postponed for three weeks to December 10 so that the team could focus on optimizing the current versions of the game.
In fact, there is growing concern about how Cyberpunk 2077 will work on the PS4, but that̵
During the last CD Projekt Red call with shareholders, Adam Kicinski said: “We feel – maybe not comfortable, but confident [in the new release date]”Again, not the type of comment you want to hear if you’re betting on Cyberpunk hitting its new date.
Even Michal Novakowski, vice president of business development, doesn’t seem to be completely sold out. Asked if the game would definitely start on December 10, he replied: “That’s more or less what I’m saying, I guess – yes.”
The delay is something that CD Projekt Red obviously didn’t plan until recently. The game’s marketing machine was already in full swing, with all sorts of ads highlighting the previous release date of November 19th. Hell, some commercials even had Keanu Reeves star in them.
So, do you think Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive on December 10th? Or do you think another delay is inevitable? Place your bets in the comments section below.
