Dallas Cowboys defensive strike David Irving is under evaluation by NFL for a potential stop, sources said the league for ESPN on Tuesday.
Cowboys DE Randy Gregory, who missed the entire 2017 season, has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL for violating NFL's substance abuse policy for the fourth time.
Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones is "confident" that the team can make a long-term deal with Pro Bowl DE DeMarcus Lawrence, who has 25 sacks in the last two seasons
Earlier on Tuesday, the defensive end Dallas Randy Gregory was suspended indefinitely for violating the Rules and the Substance Abuse Program and the conditions for his conditional restoration
Irving will be a free agent when the year of the League starts in March and the Cowboys have given no signs, that they are planning to call him. Irving has been releasing his second consecutive year in which he was suspended for the start of the NFL drug policy violation season.
Now he is expected to spend some of this out of season, trying to repel or limit another
Right this week, Irving published a message at Instagram explaining why he is in NFL.
"I'm in NFL [sic] because I'm great in what I do," Irving writes, "I'm not in NFL because I'm a sculptor, or the ideal citizen." I did not wear a mask or kissed asses to be wherever I am I do not believe me and I adapt to it Once I stepped into the field and stopped to perform then we have a problem ..
